Life
Fathom this Ocean
Its depths
and darkness
its surface
possessed of
crazed light.
The sun and sky
lost in its shallows
Leaving just a hint
of blueness in passing.
And here am I
Surrounded
All around and around me
This Ocean.

I am wondering if you are on a boat or in a shallow part of the ocean looking on it. One feels as if they are seeing it though your eyes. I look up the meaning of Fathom a measure of six feet in taking depth sounds, comprehend, measurer the depth of water. I like the introduction. The words go well with the sentences. One can feel the ocean all around them. I am wondering if there is a scent that I may be missing. Very well done.

WONDERFUL!
Your words paint a picture I can see so well as I close my eyes. Wonderful shades and tones.

I love that idea of the ocean stretching out and out forever, and endless void of water and seemingly nothing else. Alas I have yet to experience being as far out as that. Farthest I've been is the ferry to france but I can imagine.
You describe the surface very well and paint a beautiful picture in my head, if a lonely one.
