They Met:
Your face, one created
by the very hands of charm,
could give Ares a great
cause to stop and disarm.
Your voice, one that sounds
like the pearls on a queen’s
neck, which they surround,
I’ve only heard in scenes unseen
Dare I ever hope to be openly
welcomed in your embrace?
Or, stay shall I, in my reverie-
enticed by your enchanting grace?
Even when only enemies are found,
my love for thee will bare no bounds.
They Wed:
“I, Romeo, take thee, Juliet…”
“I, Juliet, take thee, Romeo…”
“Though thou art a Capulet,”
“Though thou art my foe,”
“my heart will not be heavy”
“swearing my love to only you.”
“I promise to cherish every”
“moment we’re one instead of two.”
“And, when the time hath come”
“for our souls to be parted,”
“may they also part as one.”
“With this ring, I thee wed…”
“With this ring, I swear by my vow-”
“only death can part us now.”
They Died:
He drowned his heart in poison
whilst I was asleep.
Thought he, I was gone.
Ay! I only meant to cheat
Father Time until I could
make my escape and join
My love. At last, I would.
Ha! Fortuna* hath flipped her coin!
I am Fortune’s unthinking bait
and I fall pray to love’s woe.
The trick of an already cruel fate.
That night, I lost My Romeo.
The screaming knife is all thee heard,
my heart dies from a pain beyond words.

Inspired, once more, by the tragic tale of Juliet and her Romeo...

lol, you know I already read and that I already like it.lol Unlike me, you have the guts to write about something so important, lol, as if romeo and juliette were that important, the story I mean, but you know what I mean. You succeed in writing something that is most likely to be cliche and it turns out not to be. well done.
