Matching Heartbeats

Missing image
Here is what held my heart for you;
these sacred things that comforted me
until ~
once upon an answered dream,
the sky opened and said I was ready
for you ~  and you for me ~

This is my heart, beating with love,
these walls ready to enfold you,
that sound, a drum of our commonality.

Enter here, knowing I have prepared
this way for our gathering; made good
of myself for this chance finding.

Come, sit by this fire, enter this lodge,
knowing it has waited forever for you.

It will weep.  It has longed for you so.

My sister, I have much to learn from you;
dear things, that you could
have taught me, shared with me,
as we grew up ~

I am in need of your tutelage.
Draw near me and we shall share
all the secrets we have held for each other.

You knew about me since I was born ~
I am only learning of you now, older sister.

Let me trace your face, so common to mine ~

Listen, our heartbeats match.

    Dearest Carol

    This is beautiful - I am crying. I have 3 sisters whom I love dearly and they live in New Zealand. Enjoy your time together, so much. Arohanui.

    Kia ora e arohanui tonu,

    Carol . . . weeping is such a great cleanser, such a great outpouring of emotional bonding, so may the two of you sit beneath a compassionate moon and cry together softly . . . sacred are the tears shed because of love.

        I am excited for you. That is so wonderful...
        I have 3 sisters and a brother from my real Dad. I have never met them. He doesn't have anything to do with me, so I may never find them. They are all younger than me and I wonder if they even know that I exist...so your story makes me very happy for you!
