So my mind turned to protest, the mass majority lies.
Something so familiar, so easy on the eye. And love is something I adhere to, and life ain't the kind of decision to take so lightly,
so come on and give me some familiar sense of pride, so easy on the eye.
And my mind turns to protest, the masked minority dies.
Something unfamiliar, yet so easy on the eye.
And this ain't something I adhere to, and this ain't something I afford myself to think too much.
But lately I found something so easy on their eyes, a side of me so easy, so easy to despise.

I really liked what these two lines have to say...They explain alot to what you are trying to make the reader understand.....
And my mind turns to protest, the masked minority dies.
Something unfamiliar, yet so easy on the eye.
Great Write...

the last part of it: "But lately I found something so easy on their eyes, a side of me so easy, so easy to despise." was a great way to end this poem. great job and good luck in my contest.
