am I so impatient?
I've enjoyed the process.
I still revel in the idea.
To have you as my captive;
scourge of many summer lawn.
Blessed with yellow flower beauty,
and cursed with such promiscuous duty.
.But people like you until you go to seed,
then they shake their fist and call you weed.
I harvest you now, so we can grow together inside.
Just to see if we can, or to give away your wish.
It's obvious you prefer the to sprawl in the grass.
Give me a chance, you might like the way I hold you.
...everyone will be happy to see you in february
Author notes
I haven't finished anything in a while. This one is definitely rough around the edges, but I wanted to get something out there. And right now dandelions are my hobby. I've only been trying for four days, but I expected a sprout by now. I thought it would be cool to watch an individual dandelion grow. The individuals seem to get lost in the crowd. I live in North Dakota. It's cold and bastardly for a long time and everyone misses spring and summer. This seems like a fun way to try to sneak it up on people. Maybe I'll throw some seeds in peoples indoor plant pots in december.
Please tell me what you think

Fresh. I like how you are almost coaxing this weed up. I think there is something on an even deeper level, something about enjoying dandelions bursting forth in spring, something about this being your hobby, seems very fertile. Here's to your sprout.
