The Moon hangs above like a Kinkade painting on my wall,
My feet are slightly submerged in the mud
As I simply stand there gazing at the sky in all its majesty,
My only thoughts revolve around her perfection.
The stars twinkle and glow to resemble her Hazel eyes,
I almost cannot hold back my tears of joy and despair,
Joy for finding this Goddess in the flesh,
Despair for hundreds of miles separate us in this time of need.
Missing the arms that held me close,
The arms of Love...
Distance...
A belligerent force engulfing hopeful hearts that are afar,
My own included in all of its "brilliance",
Yet this love is unlike anything I have ever felt,
An undying force that resides within.
Distance and space will not leave us in ruin,
But will allow our Emotions to age into Faith,
Strengthening us until the end of Time.

Distance sucks, it really does. Don't worry though- the summer will go by fast and you can be in her arms soon. Pretty Poem.. I hope Heather gets to read it.
