In The Darkness I must be

In the dark of night I sit
Thinking of where to go
My eyes sight blurry
With my clouded thoughts
I shiver in the dark of the night
Thinking why can't I go home tonight
Why oh gods do you not hear me
If you can please answer my cry

I sleep

I dream

In the forest the dark forest

So beautiful with so much pain

I follow my heart to you

This piece is so beautiful and can hold many meanings. I loved the imagery, detail, and emotions that came out. It seems as though we search for home all of our lives, but then we search for a new home when life is complete. May the best of luck be with you in the contest, may your work continue to flourish, and thanks for sharing!
