My Dearest Unborn Child

My dearest unborn child,
I'm so filled up with shame,
I put the drugs before you,
And now I take the blame.

My mind was so messed up,
But still It was so wrong.
My tears never ending,
Now that you are gone.

My darling I can promise,
I'll never go back,
And I've gave up the drugs,
The meth and the crack.

My child so precious,
I made a mistake,
And now that I've changed,
I know its to late.

that poem is written so true and pure although it doesnt have to be the honest thing that happened. It represents what we miss out on and what we knew was once there. I missed out on being happy for about three years and before that i was happy, but it came back too me. I just had to make it a mood, and then define it as me.

    WOW

Very heartfelt and powerful. Almost made me cry when I was reading it. It is a sad topic to think of but it does happen quite abit but i am glad that the mistake was realized and action was taken. It was a very touching piece. Wonderfully written.
