Unnoticed by humanity,
Living in filth and grime.
They linger in the shadows,
Where the life is drugs and crime.
Cast from society,
Into the city street.
With pain in their eyes,
They were broken and beat.
The drugs ease the suffering,
The friends ease the pain.
They live in alleys,
They're minds are insane.
People stabbed and murdered,
Drugs reigning as king,
Life is full of pain,
So full of suffering.
The girls sell their bodies,
Just for some dope.
These are the people,
Who have given up hope.

this is a great poem, the title especially interested me, people have a tendancy to look the other way when it comes to dealing with druggies
