Dear broken hearted friend,
I know the pain you feel.
I've been raped and hurt.
and it took so long to heal.
I don't know much about you,
Don't even know your name.
But I know the hurt of rape,
For so long I took the blame.
You are still special,
You are still pure.
It wasn't your fault,
That life wasn't fair.
To trust will not be easy,
To love will just be hard.
But I want you to know,
That I too have been scarred.

This is a great piece. It really reaches out to another person who has been through the same thing and lets them know that they're not alone. Good luck in the contest

But at least you realised it wasn't your fault.
