As I close my eyes,
soothing water serenades me.
Flowing over falls,
setting my imagination free.
Breathing in the scent of lilacs,
calming me from head to toe.
Relaxing my weary mind,
surely I feel a healing glow.
Upon my skin a gentle breeze,
as if Angels fly around.
Smiling as I image that,
such tranquility I have found.
Laying in the purest warmth,
neither daytime or dark of night.
Behind my lids I can see,
a wondrous heavenly light.
Peacefulness surrounds me,
taking all my cares away.
Easing out my troubles,
for a while I think I'll stay.

You create such a peaceful mood with your words in this poem. The scent of the lilacs, is a favorite one of mine too. I can hear the sound of the falls, and my eyes cannot stay open any longer.
