We come to church to praise the Lord
as it is right to do.
The old, the young, the weak and strong
God welcomes all of you.
We pray for peace for everyone
in countries far and near.
Let's bless our families and our friends
those people we hold dear.
So as we bow before you Lord
surround us with your love.
For as we worship in your house
We know you are above.
So as we sing your praises Lord
we give our thanks to you.
For all the people in the world
and everything you do.

I wrote this as a hymn for our church and it is to the tune Amazing Grace. Hope you like.
