Enigmatic Edna,
Very little does she give away.
I'd like to get to the bottom of her.
(In the nicest possible way)
Her poetry is delightful,
if you can stand the smut.
but it always cheers me up no end,
if I'm feeling in a rut.
Her stories can be risque,
not good for the faint-hearted.
They tell of filth and fornication
and carnal lust - don't get me started!
Obsessed with bottoms, is Edna
and other body parts.
She excels at delicate writings,
of foulest human farts.
But she's literate and clever
on that we'd all agree.
Most grammatically perfect
and punctuation faux pas, free.
Very "un pc" is Edna
and I for one, am glad
She just wouldn't be our Edna;
If she wasn't bleeding bad.

Edna would love it too. I like the singing rhythm and the rhyme. The humour is terrific and the whole poem comes together as a happy poem. Who could ask for more? Thank you.
