Such a life
As fragile as it is
Taken for such granted
In a world that sees it
That it is what it is.
Murder for money
Or just sick pleasure
A human Life
No longer a treasure
Illness and disease
Killing our friends & families
Humans taking their own life
Is this the way we should be?
Living as if we are immortal
Doing and saying what we will
No second thoughts
On how we make each other feel
We would not say or do
These ugly things
If we knew.........
If only we beforehand knew
Today would be their
Last day
So why is it we find love
And respect for life
So hard to express
We always realize too late
When there is nothing left.
We should stop living a selfish life
Pause for a moment from
All of this evil strife
Live with compassion and
Show some remorse
Life is a blessing
We are of no higher being
To disrespect its course
As we will all meet the day of our
End, when we will fall
The day when death
Becomes of us all.

there is a sense of hate within the poem seeing as it is true knowing so many waste away life. sadly the poem is most likely some of the most captivating I've read so far. still there are other ways of life that could have been described but you did a perfect job of making you point clear. just be wary when tarrying into description to much is bad too little is worse.

Great word usage form and it flowed with the gentleness of the heart in the lady who penned these words. I really enjoyed this poem and loved the message it conveys. I think it sounds pretty good,nice writing skills and so sad but true,I very much know how it feels to wish I would have done or said things differently ! A million times I have wished I would have told my son I loved him more than I did and so much more!

yeah that is really HARD me too I have lost loved ones, the one I worry bout most is my mother because we dont have that great of a relationship and she lives 1000 miles away and she and I just really try but we disagree on so much. tyvm momma for reading this piece.

Wonderfully Written!
This is wonderfully written!
If only everybody thought and felt
this way the world would be a much
safer and more special place to live
in. It's a pity that we do the things
that we do. Many times we don't even
think twice before we act or speak and
up regretting our actions in the end.
What a wonderful world this would be
if we would all take the time to help
out and support one another instead of
tearing down and destroying what we as
human beings spend our entire lives
trying to create. It's true that it's
so much easier to destroy than to create
and I think that sometimes we tend to lean
toward this fact more.
Life is truly a blessing and a gift,
something that we should never take for
granted. Beautiful work here my friend!

I really really like this. Pretty much the entire world can relate. YOu brought up points that not only make us think, bu sorta dig beneath our skin. Its a sad truth of what our world is becoming. WONDERFUL MESSAGE AND WRITE!!!!
