We are all human, whatever our gender.
We all deserve to be heard, respected, and loved.
It shouldn't matter what we look like
It shouldn't matter what we like to do,
What cloths we wear,
None of it should matter.
Because deep down we are all human
And we all deserve to have rights and respect.
Personally, I am shocked
That woman put up with the old style
Housewife routine for so long.
Why should women be treated differently?
Aren’t women human too?
Women are just as smart as men
And women can do things that men can't do.
Such as quick paced multi-tasking
And having a very clear understanding of people
And raising children to be respectable as well as healthy.
Men have their bonuses too of course,
Such as strength
And high adrenalin
And the ability to be brave in the face of danger.
So really, both Women and Men have their advantages
And their weaknesses.
But in the end we are all human.
We ALL deserve respect and love
No matter what gender, race, social status, or class we are
We all deserve the right to have a fair share
In decision-making, and in everything.

This is a wonderful poem to remember when you start feeling that being a woman is burdensome. I was a tomboy as a kid, and when womanhood did hit me, I actively tried to reject it...funny, now I would never ever trade places with a man. I love everything about being a woman.
Insightful write, and one that touched me, best wishes to you in this life,

your right no one should be treated differently but not to slam your poem or anything but i couldnt really get at what you ment i mean you said that women are better at raising children and men are stronger but that is just another steriotype like whos to say ALL women are weak, whos to say ALL men suck at raising children what about the women in the olympics, what about the men whos wives have died, well your point is solid i think but i just cant tell what it is

sadly steriotypes are often used. I have nothing against Men who are great at raisingchildren or any of that, I was just saying, that even in the cases where those steriotypes are true, the fact still remains taht we are all human and we stull deserve respect and fair rights. Believe me, I hate steriotypes, but once in a while it can ring true. Come on, Women make better mothers a lot of the time. Also, the typical man is stronger than the typical women... but again, of corse that is not true in all cases.
