a lost soul in transition
shelved in your memories

absinthe and arsenic

leaving rose petal smears for you, my lady
you seemed so fragile
yet collapsed me from within
headed towards a better end now
when you go, i hope you take me with you
just a token reminder
that there were better days
you're on my mind hun
we're taking that plunge together
to swing so freely
evoking the past
to lull me into peace

SidSlyde taking a stab at Numero Uno. Just going from the perspective, that the guy is headed to hang himself over a soured relationship, and that the girl will be there in memory in his final moments.

i love the little endearments you've scattered all through this...and the line "a suicidal union of maniacs" and the image of blood rose smears and...and...all of it actually...
i'd change
"this wasn't perfect
but we functioned" - its a bit mainstream for what is a really unique write...its also a bit obvious
