Through the Moongate……the ebb and flow of nature at one with stone and roughened bark,
a floral painting frenetically merged of colour upon colour
showstoppingly framed in luscious green.
Stop,.. take an un- hurried pause and gaze in wonder at the vividly pictured show
of spritely sprouting grasses,
amongst bursts of orange parade
and pink cascade aside
masses and masses of blues and gold.
Meander through the sweetest jasmine and delicate rose,
peonies bright by a gentle stream
trickling water, softly gleams and draws you in
what cares we not..
A cottage all washed in white,
a bewitching image where lovers kiss,
and heartstrings blush.
The east wind fuses a myriadic spin
and flowers self seed
to disperse and
flower again.
Author notes
Just thougths of walking through a moongate and seeing a wonderful show of a profusion of flora and running streams. Peaceful scene.

I want to go through a moongate too. It sounds like the most beautiful place ever created. I love this write so much. Nicely done.

Very lush in language and strokes of vivid imagery.
You take the reader through these gates among the
fragrant tapestry woven with romance to share. Blue

You were kind enough to read and comment on a couple of my pieces so I though I would return the favor. This is an outstanding work of art. You have a gift for language, which is enhanced by your poetic view of the world. You paint a detailed and lush portrait of a world that can only be seen by those with spiritual sight. Well done.

Thankyou so very much for your glowing praise of my poetry. For it, to be thought of, as 'outstanding' from yourself, is extremely uplifting and empowering for me. I am really very grateful for your beneficial and positive words. They are and will remain a source of great inspiration to me.
With much love and appreciation. Lib x

What a lush and lovely poem with a beautiful lyrical and free and easy flow. I love your use of consonance, assonance, alliteration and occasional internal rhymes, and the whole piece was a real pleasure to read.
Keep up the wonderful works,
