The genesis of the Bible waxes of an ethereal being,
Some consider the Bible agog others vapid,
But it gives the truth of how we're to be living,
The Bible’s nexus is the salvation of mankind.
The Bible has a virtue about it starting as a trickle,
And ending as a raging river, flooding everything,
It brings hope to those who are dismal,
And sires a new kind of song, for man to sing.
It tells how sin puts a crimp in mankind’s way,
Also how we can keep from living askew,
It tells how Christ will all our fears allay,
And how He makes our life brand new.
It warns about Satan’s attempting to rapine man,
It is best to live the Christian way,
So in the last day, with Christ, you will stand,
Or you can be a wag about the truth and fear that day.
