All But One Must Fall - Gold

Missing image
It has been said, and I believe it to be true,
that when fire spills out of every mountain,
and disease drops down out of the blue,
there will be one man left standing in that rain.

He will know how to survive by how intimately
he knows how animals use medicine for all their ills;
the types of every herb, every stone, every tree,
and every kind of water that, from earth’s belly, spills.

That one man will know how to speak in many tongues,
make speeches with hands and mouth and gentle sound,
spirit will rise out from heart and soul and lungs
and he will know how to listen for answers ear to ground.

When times comes for that great hand of God to clean this earth
of every foul and stinking mess that has been made,
there will come the time for Earth very cell’s rebirth
and First Man will unfold from his great miracle, unafraid.

As it is in heaven, no gender will in bickered stance arise;
it will pass that Man shall neither be a He or She
for Creator will have seen an error in his enterprise;
thus This will hold best of both and in total wholeness be.

When It has adjusted to this loneliness, of spirit, body, mind,
then Creator can again teach the peacefulness of The Way.
No more woe and no more man; a perfection of one kind
and again the world will be given its one more day.

Each thing on earth that hurt everything in its crooked path,
will have that negativity taken by earth, air, waters and fires;
what is best is kept, and that which impedes shall feel his wrath
until Peace is in every new being and peace be all that he requires.

Let it be said that there is One, as there was in the start,
that was made with good intentions to begin a master race;
in the image of Him were we made, and from Him were never to depart
and we may have been mistaken, by our rank and file in this place.

It is too late to turn back now.  Sorry never was enough.
No matter how high the mountain from which we call,
some things can not be undone and no smoothness made of rough
and for those weaknesses in each, all but one of each must fall.

Author notes

this I believe.

    Incredibly prophetic & profound...resplendent with faith, with sorrow & forgiveness, with tenderness & mercy...& ultimately, with hope...Beautifully penned, my Friend...Good luck in Richard's contest, Sweetie... Wanda

    oh this is something special

    past and?future of man... this poem has the convincing feel of prophetic wisdom, so thoughtful and evocative;
    the rhyming is invisible to the eye and pleasing to the ear...but the message makes the eyes open wide in wondering so many of these things seem so possible... remarkable...PK
