I honor you with flowers this Memorial Day
Another year has passed since you went away
Memories are etched in the chambers of my heart
A masterpiece of love, priceless work of art
With love I gaze upon the deep blue sky
As tears begin to fall from my tired eyes
I softly hum, your all time favorite song
The Old Rugged Cross, my heart beats along
With the pulsating rhythm, flowing through my veins
This grandaughter's love forever remains
A moment only separates a lifetime of love
Soon we will embrace in Heaven above

Some beautiful phrasing in this piece. I especially like:
"Memories are etched in the chambers of my heart" and
"A moment only separates a lifetime of love"
Well penned!

very good, absolutely stunning
this is great, i love the way you describe in this. you know i could use your light in my group. but be for warned, it's mostly dark and depressing.so if you can't read that don't join. and if you can lighten us up a bit. think about it will you. *the shunned*
