Twilight held us in her palm
While we quietly walked along
Letting names hang in the air
To be whispered by the wind
Whipping around the reflecting pool
Turning hand in hand
Whispering sweet nothings
And witnessing wonders firsthand
As we watched,
Stars began falling from the sky
As the moon cried and the sun sighed
And all we could do
Was stare speechless, with wonder

Very lovely imagery and nice metaphores. I also just "feels good" if you know what I mean. This was pleasing to read.
