Tears

My tears fall unnoticed
as I wait for the call
not knowing when it will come
is the worst part of all
This last year and a half
has been hard on us all
losing four people
in our family
Now we sit and wait
while the fifth
suffers through cancer
fighting to survive
We don't know when he will go
the doctors said maybe six months
at the longest
but that was eight months ago
He can't eat and is wasting away
as we all sit and watch
it makes us all die inside
as the cancer eats him alive
So our tears fall unnoticed
as we wait for the call
knowing that when it comes
he will be suffering no more
That is all we wish for now
for the end of his pain
we'll try to go on through our
as we have all year

This last year and a half my grandpa died of empazima, my step moms brother to cancer, my dad went to the hospital with chest pain(he was okay), my aunts boyfriend died of a heart attack, and my uncle died of liver and kiddny failure. Now my other uncle is dieing of cancer, and may not last much longer. It has been a really hard year.
