Alone in a crowded bar, I know exactly what I'm looking for. Fuck Mister Right, all I've gotten is Mister Wrong and what I want is Mister Right Now. Standing back I scan the room looking for someone to spend some time with. Someone to leave a piece of myself with. My friends stand back and watch me, I do this a lot, they're used to it by now. I see a list of hopefuls. There's a boy with blonde hair, but he's too short, there's a boy with the most wonderful eyes, nah too perfect, then I see him, this most extraordinary creature just standing there in the back of the room watching everyone…even watching me. We sit down at our table and I notice him walking past our table, I make sure to touch him, just a little as he walked past our table. SUCCESS I got him on the thigh. He smiles as he walks past me, he's got a cute smile. I offer to get our drinks and I walk up to the bar following slowly behind him. He orders a gin and tonic and I order the same. Oh he's pretty, not too thin either, a little on the pale side, but maybe, just maybe that would change if he got some sun. We make small talk about the band on the stereo and how they totally sold out. He comes back to my table with me and we keep making small talk. My friends have all gone off on their quests of the night. So here I am, alone at my table with this wonderful creature. He looks like a younger Robert Smith. Black hair in dreads no less, green eyes, insanely tall, though, but still wonderful to look at. We get closer and closer until finally our lips meet, hungry mouths feeding off of each other. We pay the tab and head to his place.
Up the stairs we climb, hands roaming all over, he's so gentle the way he places me on the bed, turning the sheets down. Pressing his lips to mine, desire and passion cry out, every inch of his body screams my name. His hands caress every inch of flesh they come in contact with. His mouth traces my lips, I wrap my legs around his back, feeling every inch of skin touch mine. We move together in rhythm, my nails scrape across his back, and I sigh his name softly, then suddenly it's over and we're just lying there.
I take a moment to soak it all in and I light a cigarette and wander about. I feel instantly at home here, I lay back down and fall asleep stroking his hair, and just staring, staring at him. Like I can see through that body, as if I could see to his soul. He’s so calm and innocent looking. His guitar lies alone, jealous in the background. I breathe a sigh, and turn over and lay my head on his chest.
