story of a swim

Great water fall
Towering above me so tall as I crawl
On my hands and knees
To take a drink
Not daring to swim
for fear that I might sink
But you speak,
in a motherly tone
you tell me of how the suns rays
look under your daughters glassy surface.
You urge me to look
Immerse my self in coolness
and feel the welcome  pressure against my skin.
I jump in
the icy shock revitalizes my body
as I float peacefully in my bare bliss
my hair making a black trail
in the clear aqua of your daughters breast
as I lay with a lover ill never know
pulled along by the under tow
I am submerged and yet not panicked
because I know release will come
before my dirge.
feeling of surge
tidal folly
as I get battered by the volley
of loves tap.
On the bank as I dry
looking ay my lover
and her mother which invited me in.
I chew on tree sap
and hope to, tomorrow,
be invited as such again.

Please tell me what you think
