The story may be changing
but the ending is still the same
The stars continue shining
and the players play their game
The people are all laughing
staring at the moon
The earth just started shaking
and the end will be here soon
Keep all of the pieces
and keep your foes in line
Happiness is calling
and will be here in good time
Remember what I'm saying
the words might not be clear
Just don't forget what you remember
and keep your loved ones near

=)
Remember what I'm saying
the words might not be clear
Just don't forget what you remember
I was reading in proverbs last night about wisdom, How it is important to remember what we know, how we should trust wisdom to deliver us. Mix that with faith and we Will make it.. through anything.

it is good!!
it is not wierd, it is spiritual and personal too.put your poem in that category. I have no points when i do i will give you three applauds -
"Keep all of the pieces
and keep your foes in line"
I like this part it reminds me of chess!
"The story may be changing
but the ending is still the same
The stars continue shining
and the players play their game"
This is brilliant. Reminds me of society and how the common man are played like political pawns
Life is a game of chess!
I really love this poem, your very gifted. x

I liked this alot!
"Keep all of the pieces
and keep your foes in line
Happiness is calling
and will be here in good time"
These lines speak of hope to me, and yet it almost seems unobtainable at the same time.
"Just don't forget what you remember
and keep your loved ones near "
I know you're probably not speaking of this type of thing, but learning from our experiences and not repeating the same mistakes is a miserable failure of mine personally. These lines also give me an odd sort of hope.
