A small blood red jewel
Came from the depths of
The Middle East country
So many people died to
Keep the precious rock
They didn't realize
What deadly secrets
That it held in the
Faceted smooth sides
To look too deeply
At the reflections
Would be sure to doom
Those who wish to die
And those who are
Too greedy and power-hungry
As a word of warning
Beware of the blood
Inside the ruby
It can haunt and harass
Serious consequences can
Happen depending on the
Care given to these rubies
