We met at the same place, same time
every morning, every night.
We talked and laughed and held each other
A secret love that I so treasured.
It was an early morning, standing in the hall
Just us two, I felt so small
You whispered softly 'I love you'
and from then on, I knew it was true
You wrapped your arms around my back
and held me there just like that
For a minute your lips touched mine
I felt heaven for a short moment of time.
