Kisses from girls
all over the world
bruise your lips
and taint your kiss.
A cloud of smoke
conceals your soul
and gives you
yet another addiction.
A charming grin
attracts all those
pretty girls
who fall at your feet.
Such a shining exterior
no one would know
whats going on behind.
Between your coffee and cigarettes
and kisses,
between the sneaking out
of apartments in the morning,
something hides.
You and I
we are intertwined
in sheets of lies.
Secrets stain
my skin
in the shape
of your fingertips.
They can't love
your misery
quite as well as I.
Your pain suffocates you
setting me free.
