Weeping Willow along the edge of the shore
I whisper, “Please do not weep anymore”
I sit beneath you trying to bait my hook
I stop for a minute to take a good look
Your beauty and grace is all that I see
As the wind blows through your leaves
You’re on the shore, in the perfect place
You always bring a smile to my face
Beneath your branches I always have fun
As you shield me from the blistering sun
You are standing there so tall and grand
By the waters edge surrounded by sand
I take hold of my blanket and a soft pillow
And I lay down beneath the weeping willow
Together here tonight we will fall fast asleep
Together side by side we will no longer weep

Beautiful and I felt as I was reading as if I could feel the wind, sand and water. Great visual. Well done and I can say I did not smile but a calm washed over me within the last lines. Well said.
