By gifted powers, properly used
let mountains crumble, the Earth left ruined;
with a fragile hand and a subtle glace,
within a woman’s eyes, a devilish dance.
Political influence has scarcely a time,
to persuade or deter as can her alluring face bind.
For the manly elite loses their dexterous pride;
booming voices falter, piercing eyes cast aside,
as woman enters the room with nymph-like grace;
hair tumbled down in flowing curls, circling her face.
Emanating with but naught an effort on her part,
corporal sensuality thought to be but her only smarts.
Alas, for men, within the modern female, one might find:
along with well looks, education resides.
Thus, with features so porcelain fair,
bright eyes and a body meticulously cared,
is a knowledge of her control, and the ability therein
to flaunt it at will, to pilfer her desires from unsuspecting men.
Treacherous it might be thought, acting so underhanded
(it is a marvel why women are publicly stranded).
For the world would condemn a woman who might dare,
controlling men with her charm, so pleasantly fair.
Blame not the woman, so maliciously named ”harlot,”
she asked not, nor voluntarily sought
the body she was born, the hair that so stunningly grew,
or the predispositions enforced in childhood, drew
her a weary heart to the world’s discontent -
A genuine naive innocent, ultimately scorned as pretend,
such judgment upon a woman, burdens a heavy test:
whether to be looked down upon as a failure to detest,
or a beauteous Fae with powers to delight
to tempt the feeble will of man, and claim her birthright!
