Outside Looking In

I try to believe you,
When you tell me its better off this way,
And now I find myself ignoring,
Each and every word that you say,
You can't pretend that you didn't see me standing there,
I watched you run your fingers through that B**ches hair,
I wasn't sure if you were just trying to impress me,
Or make me feel worse than I did before,
And as I walked past the 2 of you,
All that I saw was the floor,
I have tried calling you,
Just to hear your lies,
I always end up listening to your machine,
During the hard nights,
Because I just need to hear your voice sometimes,
I walk into the room,
And watch you with your arm around her waist,
With your fingers gently interlaced,
And as she stares me down,
I know that it's time to let go,
I retrace my steps back to where we used to sit,
On the bridge,
The glittering water below,
How can you not remember?
It was where you stole my first kiss from me last summer,
And when I look into the water,
Its your eyes I see,
And no matter what you say,
I know that when you look you will always see me.

    Wow

now this poem is so true of so many people. there was a bird i really used to fancy called Danni and i was litterally besotted with her. and one time i went round to heres after clubbing and she brought a guy back with her. i had to sit in the front room whilst i could hear them in the bedroom. it hurt soooo much so i had to get outta there. i get on well with her now and don't fancy her anymore thank god! but i still remember the feelings i used to have for her. she was the only bird that i've cried over.
    great poem though- loved it x x x x
