Negative...
The word shivers down my spine
Shoots poisoned arrows through the tender heart
That had so desperately longed for life
Letters arranged to form a word
Should not cause such agony
In the mirror, I see the state I have become
Over the dream, of a dream, of her
For there never was life here
~ You cannot mourn what never was ~
~ You cannot lose what you never had ~
The harsh truth bites so bitterly
Shame scorches the flesh which drapes my bones
For sinful, selfish longing has plagued my thoughts
Venomous hopes have stained my once pure dreams
It was so very wrong to pray for life
My song is more the music now
I lament from the darkest corners of my soul
Which once danced upon the fine line
Between purest hopes and wicked dreams
But the dream is here no more
~ Yet you cannot mourn what never was ~
~ You cannot lose what you never had ~

Wow, I would love to wrie like this, I only seem to b able to write about my emotions and in a rhymng way. To be able to think of phrases so openly and different ways to express things is a true talent. Thanks for taking the time to read mine also.
