Candy coated ribbons in my hair whispered in a hurricane wind falling through my open window-- they made me feel pretty, at least. Strung-out black bedspreads with Victorian design contrasted against pale skin with sparkling desire. Mirror mirror, on the wall began to forget our wishes to be whole again, and instead I had to kiss it goodbye (seven more years of bad luck for me).
Pretty pin-up faces painted fake lipstick stains to act like they were wanted. I was such a fool to fall for your cocaine cover-ups. Now, life tastes so much like a fairy tale thats even to good to be true. (Last time I tried to fly, you were not there to catch me)
My oxygen has been replaced with the strong musk of your cologne as my glow-in-the-dark stars finally lost their lust, and fell from my dull ceiling. I laughed at how ironic it felt against my cheek. I closed my eyes against the plastic kiss.
Opening my contaminated pupils to the light--
I could tell I wasn't dreaming.

Well I must say, for a first attempt, you did pretty good!
"Pretty pin-up faces painted fake lipstick stains to act like they were wanted. I was such a fool to fall for your cocaine cover-ups. Now, life tastes so much like a fairy tale thats even to good to be true. (Last time I tried to fly, you were not there to catch me)"
Awesome stanza, especially that last line.
"My oxygen has been replaced with the strong musk of your cologne as my glow-in-the-dark stars finally lost their lust, and fell from my dull ceiling. I laughed at how ironic it felt against my cheek. I closed my eyes against the plastic kiss.
Opening my contaminated pupils to the light--
I could tell I wasn't dreaming."
This is cute, and the ending was perfect.
Good job and thanks for entering bb! :]] <33
