Oh dear!!!! I had no idea that the mantis eats its own mate!! Oh my gosh! This is a satirical poem and a funny one too Very cool imagery! I like the contrast here between love and death. Publishable poem!

Lol! When I saw just the first line displayed, I thought "Aww, a cute little bug poem!" Well, I was wrong. I remember how horrified I was to learn that they eat their mate... sorta like black widows! Bugs are some disturbed, disturbed organisms.
