Love is [supposed]
to be about warmth,
glitter & candy.
[Not alcohol induced
comas
and drugs you couldn't
name]
Play by the rules my darling,
don't put up a fight.
When will you see
that you're
B R O K E N ?
& if like little stars
you could shine your way
& collect the little pieces,
of your lost faith,
then maybe I would
[Give myself to you)
Live by the knife,
die by it too,
surly you can see.
[Baby this isn't the way
this *wont* keep you real]
Don't leave me don't,
close your [eyes]

Love is meant to be many things but unfortunately we are left down plenty of the time [or at least I seem to be, or have done in the past]. It is really never fair in love and war and I have plenty of proof of that to give the Gods or whoever created love. Nicely penned and expressed.

This is a nice write, but I can't see any Shakespeare in it; other than the mentioning of a knife. Oh well...
I see you are a finalist in this contest, so good luck. -

Simply incredible. Didn't realize it was about Romeo and Juliet until I saw your author's notes, but it makes sense. Best of luck to you in the contest.
