Her cheeks were stained
Her hair, silk about her head
A sweeter vision then the nightmare
He had heard her speak, not what she said
She looked so peaceful
Almost angelic with a soft glow
The moonlight transformed her
Into a beauty of night and, oh!
Her eyes fluttered open
A faint ring of blue incandessence
She smiled her old smile
And he could feel that past presence
It was gone in a moment
As she turned back to dreams
Lost again in the nighttime beauty
Transformed by the moon beams
He smiled and wondered
"Is she the same
As when we fell in love?
Or am I to blame?"
"I've created a monster"
He stroked her haif
"She killed two people,
But I don't care."
He felt a twist of guilt
For making her this way
For changing her from perfect
As she now lay
Pain twisted her features
She struggled for breath
That would never satisfy
As she begged for death
He smiled down lovingly
Petting his creation
Watching her struggle
He felt a bitter-sweet sensation
Author notes
Here's an addition to the series. This is the reason that I needed to replace Murdering Monster on my site. I wanted to show that there's more to Him then what was shown before. His feels are changing toward her now that she's not "perfect".
