One minute I'm walking, feeling so proud,
next minute i'm attracting a rather large crowd
One footfall, a trip, my skirt in the air,
i'm flailing, horrified and my bottom is bare.
Why does that happen, it's so unfair?
Why can't it happen when there's no one else there?
Instead though today, there's a crowd nearby
who are gawping and pointing and I want to cry.
Oh god, he's seen me, he's coming to help
"Go away please" I want to yelp
Thank god for big knickers, is all I can say,
thank goodness M&S still make them that way!
As i'm pulling my modesty back down to my knees
a hand reaches out and gives mine a squeeze
"Are you ok, do you need a hand?",
oh god, i'm blushing and can barely stand.
"Thank you" I mutter and glare at my feet,
as my flush takes hold and i'm feeling the heat
I can't meet his eyes, but he's still standing there,
smiling, gentle, he's starting to stare.
"Ignore my friends, they shouldn't laugh that way,
but you are the best thing they've seen all day"
How do I respond, they all saw my knickers
and they see my shame, as laughs become snickers.
"It's fine, i'm fine, but thank you again,
I like to do things to amuse little men"
And with my sweetest smile, my head held high,
I wobble off home.....please, now can I die?

Sorry, i wrote this for this competition but i can't manage to get it any shorter to make it 25 lines without loosing the story, so i understand if i'm to be disqualified, but have submitted it anyway, even if it's just to make you smile if not giggle!

It has happened to me but the difference was, no one helped but like you say, Always dress from the inside out, and make sure your pants are nice, you never know who may see them!
