Silence comes and goes without invite
quitely it caresses me
while it's stillness
brings peace to my hypnotic frame
Calm envelopes my senses
and curbs my tranquil appetite
harmony reconciles my wanton hostilities
now my struggle is over
I relent to it's power
and lay beside you alive again
in tune with my laboured brawl
calmed by the stroke or your hand
that makes me rest as sleep emacipates my soul.
