Close My Eyes

In the dark of night, the rain falls without sound.
And when you are not here,
Only the pain of my loneliness can be found.
When you were here,
Like a rainbow through a cloud 
You’ve brightened my day.
Though there are miles between us,
And the days and the nights may seem long
I've hidden you
In the secret pathways
Of my memory.
Memories of you are like a melody of love in my life 
And the tunes they play are endless in time.
So, when I need you,
I just close my eyes
And my love for you can be held in my heart forever.

    I Love It

    This poem is amazing, i think i may especially like it, and be bias, because it is very similar to the way i feel. But it really touched me, and I love the way you have written this. Amazing Job, Amazing write.

    Very beautiful in spontaneous emotional reaction to love.. a lot of irresistible feeling and not just a strong feeling but a promise in each other forever. The insolubility of love is when two partners never choose each other but are chosen for each other by the finger of God ) my husband always speaks about the rationale behind the act of will. It's all part Adam and all part Eve Serene love and regards!
