showed more skin,

acted like a ditz,

boys are stupid, especially at your age because they're still so insecure about themselves that they can't handle being around strong, smart girls. But hang in there, the whole world is full of guys who can't stand the girls you talk about in this poem. Especially as you get older, I think they get disenchanted with that whole image. And honestly, if they don't like you because you're not that kind of girl, they're not really worth the aggravation. You'll spend more time trying not to make them cry than anything, and who wants that?
