As she sits in the room alone
She finds herself thinking
About everything that has happened
Over the years
She thought she was over it
That she had escaped the darkness
And was finally free
But she thought wrong
Memories came flooding back
Like a tidal wave crashing down
Destroying everything in its path
Memories she thought were long gone
Come to haunt her again
In her eyes she sees the world
As an evil place
Where everyone hates her
And doesn't care
She sees her life
Going nowhere but down
Into nothing
Into darkness
Into hell
But she doesn't want this life anymore
She doesn't want to feel lost again
She wants to find that open door
That leads to a place
Where everything is just right
She wants to be able to feel happy
Not weighed down by this depression
She wants to to what it is like
To feel like that again
Lost inside herself
Waiting to be found
How can she get out?
Or is she bound to this terrible fate
Bound to live her life in worry
And defeat
Or can she get out
Of this darkness
That has kept her waiting
All these years
When will all the feelings of despair
And the feeling that there is no hope
Finally let go
And free her from this dark
Empty hole
