Why can’t you hear my plea?
Why don’t you listen?
Do you like to see my tears glisten?
Why do you say those things?
Why do you live to break my wings?
Why didn’t you listen to my prayer?
Didn’t you know that you were my air?
I said those words you didn’t want to hear.
And your rejection is that I most fear…

This is a great emotional poem. We all have fears and being rejected is a pretty common one.

I like your poem, but did you know fear of rejection is what causes us sometimes to get rejected? People sense your fear, and that makes them think you have low self esteem. If they think you have low self esteem, then they think there must be a reason for it, and they reject you. They do all of this without realising they are ever doing it. Crazy huh?
Sorry, guess I got carried away.
Anyway, I really liked your poem.
