A Vision Surfacing

The night begins again,
Counting off
beneath the moonlight,
bathed in self-reflection.
A perfection was achieved
as I had left or forgotten a time
when I could eye
and never hold again a loss
of words I've spoken.

Beat by beat
a cleansing
silence was brought about
by the dying of the pen.
A haunting melody
envelopes me
with a thought unto you,
wild and unrelenting.

In a fortune representing me,
a fountain of age and chaos
stood shattering the surface of the water,
showing the truest form of self destruction.

Rapture esteemed by those who gleam
when vested by a power,
Trees that died said to be evergreen.

Storms ensue
and thoughts of you
grew from me, overwhelming,
Leaving you at the helm
of my violent sea of dreams.

Lost, I am no island
and isolation holds the key
to a world I'll never see;
the other side of you.

The only reason I say incomplete is because as it is hand-written, this is only the first half, I am personally satisfied with the presentation value. I'll be glad to present it in expanded form if there is anything you think it might need or can do without. Hope you enjoyed what is written and I hope you find what you're looking for in the contest.
