Well here we go again
I am feeling a bit alone
tho I have my husband and kids
and Desire to keep my spirits up.
But it never fails
when I need a hug
there is no one there.
I used to just call my Mom
to make me feel better
or just to "shoot the shit".
But know I talk to myself
she doesn't answer me no more.
It's wrong for a daughter
to not have a Mother
my heart is half gone
sometimes wonder if I will go on.
But my kids need there Mom
I would never leave them
and I "will" not be taken away
like my Mom was from me.
She was way to young
her grand kids didn't have enough time with her
I did not have enough time
my brother who lives so far away
hardly ever got to see her.
I know I should not feel so bad
there are people with less than me
but I need my Mom so bad sometimes
I wish I could just go see her for one moment.
I am trying not to cry
as I write this crap
but it is the best way I know how
to get past my tears.
One day I will have peace
and not cry anymore
but for now I will have to sit
and cry alone behind my door.

your author's comments need to be addresssed first - "sorry" - there is not a thing for you to be sorry about Lady Raven. Not a thing. Yes, I felt some of your sentiment and I can relate to a portion of it. I too - often....(tho not often enuff these days) miss my mom as well. You've almost inspired me to write one to her as well. I'm sure she's smiling on you ALWAYS and I have confidence in myself (just as I have confidence in you) that we will all be together again on some future occasion. A very nice, touching poem. Thanks Lady Raven.

Trish,
I'm so sorry you feel that way. You're worth more than you give you credit for and you have more than you know. Everyone does, but you're right everyone does need a mother. I used to have withdrawl with my mother but now, well, teenage years and those can be a little rough on the parent. We're all here for you and that's all I can say. I hope your spirits get high or even higher than before. We all love you.

Beautiful
My dear Tish~ You are a true blessing~ This poem was touching and brought tears to my eyes~ I feel honored to be mentioned and I am always there my best friend~ Your mom is a special lady and yes to young when taken away~ She is in the heavens watching~ She and my Sammy are probably laughing because we are so goofy~ I can see it now and they are having a blast~ I can only imagine how hard it is to lose not only your mom but a best friend you would just call up and chat with~ I miss her deeply and I know she sees me~ She is with you too my dear~ In your heart and soul she knows and is there to dry that tear when it falls from your eyes~ You may not be able to physically see her but she is there~ Keep your chin up my friend~ Desire is here and will always be when you need me~ Big hugs to you~ Desire -
Wonderful yet Painful write
Tisha, if she is there, in your head, tallk to her, and listen to see what she says. You might just be surprised at the conversations you can have:-). I do it with Pop all the time remember the sweet times, tell your kids about grandma every chance you get, and remember her often.
