My best friend is my world,
Without her I'd be lost.
I'd do anything for her,
No matter what the cost!
She is my calm after the storm.
My rainbow after the rain.
She keeps me from falling apart.
She stops me from going insane.
She holds me close,
When all I can do is cry.
And when I try to fake a smile,
She doesn't believe the lie.
I'd be dead so long ago,
If I hadn't been blessed with such a great best friend.
She help me bleed the poison off my memories,
My soul she helped me cleanse.
So thank you to my best friend,
Thanks to you I am still living.
Words cannot express,
How much I appreciate the love you keep on giving.
So I hope I've helped you somehow too,
You are the reason I'm still here.
The reason I try,
THE REASON I PERSEVERE!

This is great! It is a positive, thankful poem. I loved it. Just one suggestion. In the first stanza, the last line sounds a little short. Could you say "No matter what the cost"? Maybe you even meant that and accidentally left it out. Anyway, a really lovely poem here. Well done!!!!
