Vibrant reds, oranges, yellows
drift through my spirit,
to touch down gently
in brown remnants
of my tomorrows.
A rich tapestry of memories
are encased in
my treasure chest
of yesteryear.
Gently brushing away the dust
from this locked chamber,
I open the past,
to view
a kaleidescope of
dreams and ambitions.
A love of everlasting passion,
now gone,
as I ache for your touch.
I recall visions
of a life in sychronisation,
now lost until eternity.
As my tears wash away
the dust from my dreams,
I lock my heart
into that trunk,
until we meet again.
As my winter approaches
and the brown leaves accumulate,
I am at peace,
as I await our union
in paradise.

What comes to my mind
seasons of love....forever being locked away....thus shall you never look upon them the same...and years will pass.....til the nevermore once again...brings to life a love faded upon broken dreams of yesterday...
