It's already five
and I'm up again, to work.
Try not to starve today
before I dip my head in the sink
to wash my hair
before the water runs dry.
I've got three kinds of shirts
almost respectable
dirty
and acrid smelling.
and today I have dirty.
I guess I'm lucky
that I don't have to wreak
like a dump
but only look like one;
I'm the luckiest man
on this side of town.
