Take My Breath Away (Acrostic)

To feel your strong arms as they're wrapped
Around me so tightly, vise-like.
Kissing so deep and passionately,
Every nerve electrified.

Memories made, last forever
Your eyes look into my soul,

Blue and beautiful like your heart.
Relentless; this feeling of love,
Eternally it grows deeper.
Amazing, the way your touch can
Take my breath away so readily.
Heavenly my desires,

As you fulfill my every need.
We go together, hand in glove.
A matching pair, made in heaven,
You are my one and only love.

This is sweet- and fun. There is a lot of love and whimsy- and it isn't so easy to write a good acrostic- believe me, I've tried! I really enjoyed this and also loved the border design. Cheers for your entry!

TillyMay, Thank you for the applauses and your lovely words of praise you gave to me here. I do love acrostics and I remember how tough they were when I first started to write them. The border is from a free site and for those that can add custom backgrounds I have credited the site in a link below the poem. I'm very happy that you enjoyed this so much. This was a joy to write and the feeling that I get. Love and God bless, Joyce

Karen, Thank you very much for the applauses and your lovely words of praise here. I also love acrostics and it was my turn to choose the titles for the week in our group. This is one of my favorite songs from the Top Gun soundtrack. I'm very happy that it spoke to you as it did. Love and God bless, Joyce

This is lovely, everything about it is lovely. If it weren't for the colored letters, I would never know it was an acrostic. The flow is smooth and the image breath taking. I love the background; I wish we still wore clothes like that.

    Love,
    Amera

This was a wonderful acrostic. Please tell your two nana wielding pals that their comments detract from the sanctity of this poem. lol. This was a terrific use of our group title. I have to put my thinking cap on and get to work so that cheeky will let me have one of her nanas. Peace, Liz

I'm very happy you enjoyed this one. I had to write for all the titles last week or I would look a little silly seeing as I chose the titles. LOL Love and God bless you my friend, Joyce

Thank you for your contest submission as well as for following the rules. LOL saw the title and went, 'hehe I know this title', lmao. Nice acrostic and such a wonderfully tender sentiment, you KNOW where it took me to, of course!
A few places maybe check your grammar/spelling, but that is just technical stuff and no great detraction from this wonderful write! Best of luck in this and all of your endeavors. Hetohke'e
