my lil sister jump rope.
just enough length.
just thick enough.
how can such a pretty child toy be capable of commiting something so ugly?
but it can, and its useful.
i steal it from her bedroom.
walk myself to the back yard.
and i sit under the old oak tree.
i stare at the sun. its going down.
its beautiful with all its exotic colours.
i sit, i stare.
on my lap is a pen and a notebook.
i guess you can say i want to write my final goodbye to the world.
to make everyones life easier, to place the blame on myself.
the silence of the mid-day is broken only by the stratching of pen on paper and the bleeding of ink on paper.
and then it stops.
my goodbye is done.
getting up slowly enjoying the last sun down i'll ever see.
i take the jump rope and i make it into a noose.
slip it around the trees outstretch limb.
i take its hand and pull myself up.
and its done.
and you know how i've done it.
this is to you. i put it on myself. no ones to blame.
it was all my fault.
and this is a final goodbye.
and my final sun down.

so surreal and peaceful for a poem about death. You are very talented and you are very good at setting moods. the only thing i would have liked better is for you to descibe him makeing the nuse in some way.
