If only life was that easy,
And work was something we didn’t have to do.
I could be among your living room,
Gazing in your eyes,
Selfishly taking in all I could of you.
As time has it, and distance has a toll,
I am here awaiting,
For that one chance, when time has no control.
Yes, at this moment, all I ever longed for,
Is to be the one, entering your paradise,
Cherishing the dreams, that fate has in store.
Sitting here, my desk becomes my home,
And I think of you, tears flowing freely,
I am in love with you, yet I am alone.
You love me too, the words you whisper in my ear,
Leaving me wanting even more,
To have you right now, even to just have you near.
Just to be with you, just for the day,
I would easily give up my tomorrows,
To sacrifice my heart, and give it to you today.
So what do you say, will you join me in my quest,
Of a moment full of passion,
A powerful love fest?
Let’s get lost right now, just you and I,
Fall into a paradise of powerful bliss,
Forget about tomorrow, and get lost in this moments time.

Thank you for your contest submission as well as for following the rules. Interesting piece to be certain, nice flow to it, although a bit unusual. I do suggest a brief review of grammar/spelling in a few places, but not a great detraction from this wonderful write. Also, the slant of the rhyme in stanzas 2 and 9 are a bit of a stretch, so perhpas a rewording there, but that is simply my opinion.

hmm...
i really like it...and i cant understand the whole job thing, but i can relate to loving someone but having to stay away from them and things like that....i can agree that it sucks having to spend time with them, time that you value you much, then being forced to part from them for long periods of time
